The owners were very nice and accommodating, and dinner at the hotel was the best meal we had on the island. Our rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. We couldn't get a room with a sea view, but breakfast was fresh and came with a great view over the water. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're back on Ponza.

The rooms are small, but clean and basic, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The real highlight is the setting: it looks over a crystal-clear sea, with cliffs beside it, and the sun comes up directly in front of the rooms. Beautiful views all around.

Breakfast was mediocre and exactly the same each day. The steps down to the water were broken, and the air conditioning was out for three days. When rough seas kept us on the island longer, the hotel charged us the full price for another night despite those problems. There are plenty of better hotels here. I'd put this one in the lower middle class.

We had a very satisfying stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Ponza. Its central location is handy, just a two-minute walk from the port, and the name really suits it: the hotel sits high on a cliff with breathtaking sea views. In the evening you can eat on the terrace overlooking the water. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very professional. Breakfast had lots of sweet and savory choices. The restaurant served excellent, high-quality food, including a daily menu that was reasonably priced for the island: €45 for an appetizer, first course, second course, dessert or fruit, and water.
