Clean and tidy inside, and the service was friendly, though nothing especially memorable. The place has a reasonable range of amenities, but some of the furnishings and finishes are worn, which seems hard to square with the price. Getting there is also awkward without a scooter or car. It could work as a stay, but I’d think carefully about whether the quality matches the cost.

The host was kind, and the terrace is easily the best part of the house. The place itself is nice, but so bare it feels almost sterile. There’s no cleaning sponge or kitchen towel, and the air-conditioning remote is broken. You’re expected to buy basic things like salt, oil, ingredients, and accessories yourself, so avoiding a €200 dinner out means shopping for all of it. And getting back to the house is brutal: steep climbs before dawn, scorching paths, and plenty of swearing. You’ll need strong calves and patience for the heat. P.S. If you stay here and don’t leave food for the kittens, you’re not a nice person.

The villa is beautiful, and the view is too, but the host lets it down. Check-out was poorly handled and reception was terrible. There’s no washing machine, and although they say there’s air conditioning, it’s only in one of the three rooms. I’d avoid it.

Rosaria is so kind. If you love the sea, this place is ideal, with a comfortable room and a terrace overlooking Ponza Bay that takes your breath away.
