We spent three nights here with my boyfriend and would happily return. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean, and had a lovely balcony view over Portici. It’s also close to the train station, which made getting around easy. Antonella and her husband were so kind, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was served at the bar downstairs, with a tasty cornetto and great cappuccino to start the day. We had a wonderful stay at Alex’s Home and highly recommend it.
Antonella is a fantastic host, and the rooms and bathroom are kept really clean and neat. The location is great too. There’s also Bar VIP downstairs, where you can get excellent coffee and croissants. If you’re visiting Naples and Portici, this is a lovely place to stay.
We had a great stay here. The room was clean and tidy, with a large bathroom, and breakfast was included and lovely. We were even able to check in early. It’s handy for public transport, and we got to Baia, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Herculaneum, and central Naples from here.
We didn’t have a car, so the connections from Alex's Home were useful for us. It’s about 20 minutes from a train station and 35 minutes from the excavations at Ercolano. Naples is around 15 minutes by train, and Pompeii about 45 minutes. From Pompeii, we caught a bus to Vesuvius, and tickets for each place could be bought at the gate. The house was lovely and very clean, and Antonella was an extraordinary host, so kind and ready to help with anything. We’re very grateful and can honestly recommend staying here.
