Fabric Hostel & Club

We had a good time here and met some really cool people from all over the world. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, whether we needed something or wanted help with taxis or finding our way around the city. The rooms and bathrooms aren’t fancy, but that’s not really the point of this hostel. It’s very reasonably priced and a good fit if you don’t want to spend much. I’d recommend it.

There’s a nice morning market right outside, with plenty of local food and products. The hostel has lots of space, plus a small kitchen and common area that are well equipped. The shared bathrooms are large and kept fairly clean. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the train station, then a train ride into the city center. Fair price for what you get.

The staff were so caring and went out of their way to help us. One night, when we couldn’t find a pharmacy, someone even walked us there before it closed. We were warmly welcomed, and I won’t forget how kind everyone was. We could also order pizza straight to the hostel for free. Our room was tiny, but had what we needed. We paid an extra 5€ per night to upgrade to a private bathroom, though the public ones were acceptable too. Remember to bring your own soap. Breakfast was pretty limited, basically cereal or a packaged croissant. Still, it was a great stay.

Francesca and Pippo were wonderful to meet. They made me feel at ease and suggested places for dinner, and their service was among the best I had during my week in Italy. The hostel was clean, welcoming, and more than I expected for such an affordable stay. Bravo Fabric Hostel, I’ll be back! It’s not in Naples itself, but the train ride is short and costs 1.6 euro each way. The station is about a 10-minute walk away. There are several little shops nearby, where souvenirs may cost less than in Naples. Some rooms don’t have AC, though you can ask for it. Such good value.
