Casina Porto Azzurro

We loved the terrace at Il Villino. It’s comfortable for breakfast or even dinner, and there’s room to hang laundry and a small BBQ. Inside, there’s a double bedroom with a large closet, a living space with a big, fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious bathroom. The little house also comes with its own parking spot and is ideal for a couple. It’s a happy choice for a stay on Elba. You’re just steps from central Porto Azzurro, but away from the busy parts, up in the hills with lovely views of the harbor and Capoliveri. It’s only a few minutes on foot to town along a pleasant, quiet road. Barbarossa Beach is walkable too, on a scenic path past the Spanish Fortress. Ms. Consuelo gave us a very warm welcome and was extremely kind. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely week at the Ginepro apartment with our small dog. Its private porch was very handy, and the shared garden was beautiful and comfortable. The place was clean and had all the amenities, while the owners were kind and wonderful. It’s a quiet spot just steps from central Porto Azzurro. All good, and I think we’ll come back.

Our apartment was Il Corbezzolo, in the La Casina complex in a lovely, peaceful part of Porto Azzurro. It was spotless and comfortable for two, though it could also suit a family of four. We enjoyed eating outside in the relaxing outdoor space. Inside, the kitchen was well equipped, and there was a washing machine and coffee maker. The bedroom and spacious bathroom are on the mezzanine, reached by a spiral staircase, and the room has large closets. It’s handy for the island’s best beaches, and central Porto Azzurro is within walking distance. Definitely worth visiting, we’ll be back.

We stayed for a week and found everything in order and clean, with nothing to complain about there. The owner was helpful and kind, and the reserved parking was a real help since finding a nearby spot without it would have been hard. Our small ground-floor apartment had everything two people needed, even though it was compact. We especially liked the little outdoor area with a table for eating or just relaxing. It’s very quiet, away from the busy town. The one thing that would have made our stay more comfortable was a better bed.
