Calasole Country House

Breakfast in our own space was a real treat: waking up to a table set on the patio in the Salento sunshine, among olive and fruit trees, made the holiday. The food was fantastic, with plenty of excellent options. The place is set in the countryside, well organized, and each spacious room has its own private spot to relax in peace. They respond promptly to every need, and the services were excellent. Everything was spotless, from the rooms to the shared areas, including the hot tub, garden, outdoor showers, barbecue, and parking. I'd give the location a 10. Punta Prosciutto's beaches are very close, and even on August 15th we could find a bit of room for our umbrellas while avoiding the crowds at Torre Lapillo. The Torre Costiglione cove, 300 meters away in the nature reserve, is definitely worth seeing.

The road through the natural park is bumpy, but the setting is lovely and the location works well for Torre Lapillo and Punta Prosciutto, both about a 5-minute drive away. The owner was very helpful, available around the clock, and happy to give advice. Breakfast featured excellent local products, and there was a hot tub, barbecue, and outdoor showers. A great stay, and we'll try it again next time.

Calasole Country House brings together nature, a chance to unwind, professionalism, and courtesy. Highly recommended.

The unpaved road in has a few potholes, but it was a shame we could only stay so long. We had a peaceful, relaxing time and would definitely come back. Our ground-floor quadruple room had two bunk beds, which worked well for a family with children. The recently built property has indoor parking, and we tried the outdoor hot tub. Everyone on staff was friendly, and breakfast outside was excellent. It's a good base for exploring the Ionian Sea.
