Finestre Sul Mare Salento

Angela was attentive, sensitive to what we needed, and always available. She also gave excellent advice about the area's history and places to visit. We stayed in "Melograno" during the first week of August, in a nature reserve among the Mediterranean scrub, with magnificent sunrises and evocative sunsets. The house is so close to the sea that it’s easy to return home for a cool break. Its indoor and outdoor spaces made it easy to enjoy the sun and eat delicious figs straight from the garden tree. There are several outdoor seating areas, each giving a different view of the landscape by day and under the stars at night. Mosquito nets and grilles, air conditioning, a bathroom looking onto pristine nature, comfortable bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen all made the stay comfortable. The beach opposite is a real little gem of rocks and sand, rarely visited even in August. More popular beaches are just a few meters away along the coast. We could walk everywhere and leave the car parked in the house garden. The water was crystal clear, azure and sometimes blue, and we saw several kinds of fish under the rocks. Angela knows this land so well and loves it, and her enthusiasm comes through when she welcomes you. She shares useful information beyond the usual tourist tips. We spent a week in the wonderful Corallo house, which was very clean and had everything we needed. I was unsure about the kitchen under the patio when we arrived, but by the time we left I could see it was one of the house’s best features. The sea is very close if you like rocky shores, and there’s also a small cove on the public beach for those who prefer that. Follow the path to the left when facing the sea to find a little corner of paradise. The colors are unique, the sand is coarse, and the sea is marvelous. We left feeling a little melancholy, but we’ll be back. See you soon! ❤️

We came back to Rome feeling recharged and already eager to return. The house is designed with care in every detail, immersed in pristine nature and just steps from the sea. It’s ideal for snorkeling and walks along the beach, and we never needed the car. Thank you, Angela, for such warm hospitality and for the love you can feel in every corner of the house.
