Hotel Riva del Sole

The owners are absolutely fabulous, and the large, clean rooms are very affordable. This is a real gem, just two blocks from a beautiful sandy beach in Porto Cesareo. Highly recommend.

The location makes it easy to get to the beaches and nightlife on foot, but it was still quiet enough for a good night's sleep. I really appreciated my room's sea view and balcony. The staff were very friendly and the service was great, and I felt safe from CoViD-19 the whole time. A true four-star hotel, very clean, with comfortable beds, a nice bathroom, lounge, and terrace. Thanks for making my stay fantastic, a presto.

Maria, Gian Franco, and their daughter made us feel so welcome. They're friendly, hospitable, and caring, and take real pride in keeping their immaculate Palace in shape. When I got sick after overdoing it with the wonderful Italian food, Gian Franco arranged a visit with a local doctor within minutes. I only missed one day of my stay. The breakfast was better than anywhere else, too. When engineers and technicians heading to the test track early one morning ate all the pasticciotto, Maria set four aside for us. Those thoughtful touches, along with the perfect location, are what make you feel at home and want to return. We first came to Porto Cesareo before COvid, after renting a Villa in La Strea district, and wanted to stay in town this time. We'd booked at the Grand Paradise, but uncertainty about Covid guidelines meant we booked too late and were asked to stay at this sister hotel, RIva Del Sol. I'm so pleased we did. I'll be back in two years with my granddaughter and the new grandchild due next month. Thank you, Gian Franco, Maria, and your daughter for such a wonderful stay. The clean room was a little noisy, something several of my colleagues mentioned too. They understood English, which was nice, and being close to good restaurants and the sea made my week-long stay awesome. The food and coffee were good.
