Il Molo

The host, Mattia, was kind, and the prices were affordable. We had a positive week at this clean little B&B, and dogs are welcome. It's a handy place to stay while visiting the area's beautiful beaches. Our room was on the first floor, reached by a spiral staircase. The shared terrace had tables, chairs, and a rack for drying clothes, a nice spot to sit after the beach. The neighborhood was quiet, with a small free beach nearby, though it gets very crowded and the coast there is rocky. The one real drawback was the neighbors, who were noisy early in the morning. I recommend it for a holiday. We won't come back because we like trying somewhere new each time.

Being near several lovely beaches was the best part. The room had nowhere to set things down, and the bathroom door made a lot of noise. The shower had weak water pressure and the temperature kept shifting. You could hear everything through the thin walls, especially the people downstairs, as if they were right in the room. The bedroom blinds also stopped short of closing fully. Breakfast was simple and served at a nearby bar, with coffee or juice and pastries.

The location is convenient, close to the center, Porto Cesareo, and Punta Prosciutto. The room looked nice, but it wasn't very practical. The mattress seemed worn out and sagged in spots, the shower water barely ran, and the refrigerator kept making noise. The girl who greeted us could have been more welcoming. I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

The room was roomy and had a TV and air conditioning, and everything was very clean. Towels and sheets were changed, and the bathroom had all the amenities. There are several places to eat near the B&B, including a wine bar, grill, and fishmonger. It's also only a short walk from the typical Salento tower, with a free beach nearby. I'd happily come back.
