Mansarda Sul Mare

Absolutely not. There was just one vacuum cleaner shared among the three apartments, and other guests often had it, so I couldn't use it when I wanted. That left me sharing the attic with ants. The electrical setup was inadequate: the two air conditioners couldn't run together because of the 10-amp differential, and one unit wasn't enough to cool the attic in the scorching heat. They were dirty, or at least hadn't been sanitized properly, so they weren't suitable for people with allergies as the listing claimed. Even stranger, the two-pole switch for the attic air conditioner also controls the ground-floor boiler. The shower drained badly, with water overflowing into a floor drain that couldn't keep up. The bathroom ended up flooded, and the only way to get the water to drain was to flush the toilet. There was no parking space despite the listing saying parking was available by reservation. I booked it, but our car stayed out on the road for a week, which felt unsafe. The crib I'd requested for my daughter came without a mattress, so I had to buy one myself a couple of days before we left. Check-in was changed to 12:00 PM the night before, forcing me to rearrange travel plans with the children. The listing says parties and events aren't allowed, but apparently even having sisters or brothers-in-law over for a cold drink on the terrace isn't okay. Someone called right away to tell us we couldn't have visitors. And be careful when you go out: leaving even one light on so the kids can find their way back could prompt another call from Mrs. Carla, because the two 5W LED bulbs hadn't been switched off.
