Torre Lapillo Case Vacanza

The owners were attentive, precise, extremely helpful and very professional. The four apartments cover different tastes, and absolutely nothing was missing. Everything exceeded my expectations and standards. The place is centrally located, with all amenities just steps away. It’s 200 steps to the sea. What can I say? My sincere compliments. We had a lovely stay at the end of August. The apartment was clean, had everything we needed, and was in a great spot. Christian was reliable and always available. We’d happily recommend it for a relaxing holiday. Gaetano and Giovanna.

Those two weeks from June 14th to 28th went by far too quickly. We first stumbled on this place in 2023, had such a good holiday that I got straight back in touch with Cristian this year, and we’ll definitely come back. I’m sorry I never reviewed that first stay, so here’s a fuller account for anyone considering it. The apartment was spotless, which was one of the main reasons we chose it again. It’s modern and recently renovated, with air conditioning, an induction kitchen stocked with cookware and dishes, a private washing machine, TV, Wi-Fi, and two roomy bedrooms that worked well for us traveling with children. There’s also an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach. Cristian provides a beach umbrella, two chairs, and a pump for inflatables, and the car parking is fenced in. The public beach in the bay at Torre Lapillo is just 80 meters away. The water stays shallow for about a hundred meters, which is great for families, and has that Caribbean-like look. In the evenings Torre Lapillo is fairly quiet, but there’s a minimarket, a fabulous bakery, a greengrocer, pharmacy, bars, and restaurants, including takeaway pizzerias. Porto Cesareo is a five-minute drive away, with its historic center, waterfront walk, bars, restaurants, market stalls, and children’s rides. Cristian is a rare kind of person, so kind and helpful. He’s ready to help with anything, small or important. His sister and the people who handle cleaning and maintenance were also part of the wonderful welcome we had again this year. It’s a handy base for exploring. Within at most 50 minutes you can reach the Adriatic coast, including Torre dell'Orso, Otranto, the little bays and cliffs, or head south along the Ionian coast to Gallipoli and on towards the Maldives of Salento and Santa Maria di Leuca. Alberobello, Ostuni, and Fasano Zoo are about an hour and a half away. Lecce, Brindisi, and plenty of other places are worth seeing too. The one downside is that 15 days disappear in a flash, and going home nearly makes me cry. You’re the best, Cristian. See you soon! 👍🏼 Francesco, Michela, and Leonardo

The staff were so friendly and always there when we needed them, and their tips for food, sightseeing, and planning our days were really useful. Our place was quiet, spotless, well looked after, and had every comfort. With the beach right there and bars, restaurants, bakeries, and shops close by, the location worked out great. There was even a traditional street market every evening. We had a fantastic holiday and really enjoyed meeting you. Hope we can come back soon. Best wishes from all of us!
