Villa Del Sole

The location worked well for us: it was quiet, away from the bustle, and only about a ten-minute drive from the center of Porto Cesareo. The city did have one frustrating issue, though. Finding parking could mean driving around for as long as an hour. That's a problem with the city, not the hotel. We felt at home from the start, thanks in large part to Massimiliano, whose warmth and readiness to help really stood out. That family feel carried through the stay. Breakfast was served at the table instead of being a crowded buffet, with excellent products and very courteous, kind staff. Housekeeping also deserves credit: the rooms were impeccably clean, which made everything more comfortable. It's the kind of place that stays with you, and we'd be glad to return if we're in the area. We'd recommend it to anyone wanting an authentic experience of Puglia. Massimiliano mentioned that the upstairs rooms are due to be renovated in 2026, which gives us one more reason to come back.

Massimiliano clearly puts a lot of love into running this hotel. He's attentive, always available, and makes you feel like you're really on holiday.
