We were there in July 2024, just outside Porto Cesareo in a quiet area. The host, Andrea, was always available to sort out problems and suggest places to eat and the best beaches. Our room was clean and fresh-smelling, with a very large bathroom. Breakfast was incredibly generous, including the classic pasticciotto Leccese, served by Cesaria, who was always patient and kind. It’s a must-try... 👍🇮🇹

The garden view was actually of scorched, uncultivated fields. We raised the problems with the owner, but he brushed aside the facts he had presented, having assessed them very superficially. We can’t recommend a stay here. We booked because of the high ratings, but the reality didn’t match. The room we got wasn’t the one we had booked, and its furnishings, size, and stifling heat made it uncomfortable. The air conditioning was noisy and faulty, and only worked while we were in the room. When we left, the power was cut off.

Patrizia had breakfast ready for us each morning, and the room was always clean and tidy. Andrea and Marzia, the owners, were also consistently kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was good and plentiful, especially the delicious pasticciotti. Porto Cesareo is beautiful, and Villa Marzia was just right for us: a new property a few minutes from the sea and town center. We’ll definitely stay here again when we return.
