The croissants were decent, and there were newspapers to read. Still, having breakfast at the bar felt a little too public for me, and I would've liked a different choice of food. The room was comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive.

The two hosts were warm and helpful, and the countryside setting made it a nice spot to unwind. It’s also well connected for getting to Mantua and the area around it. The B&B has been completely renovated, with colorful decor and the owner's paintings on the walls in the rooms and corridors.

The setting was lovely, surrounded by greenery, and the owner was kind, though we hardly saw them. When we left, they weren't there, so we left the keys in the door and went on our way. Cleaning was so-so. There were a few stink bugs, which we figured might come with the location, and crumbs on the floor that were annoying if you like walking barefoot.

There was no breakfast, and the place seemed poorly managed. The rooms smelled moldy, the shower water came out red, and things were dirty.
