Apartment Largo del Teatro

The lack of cell service is a real limitation, though the DSL Wi-Fi modem kept us online so we could still reach people over the internet. The apartment sits below street level, and we found cockroaches and crickets inside. It’s also in a small condominium in the historic village center, where the rules are enforced quite strictly, so be careful. There’s a bedroom, bathroom, little laundry room off the hall, and a living room with a kitchen. The sofa bed opposite the entrance was dirty and uncomfortable, especially to sleep on. Its mattress is so thin you can feel the springs. The air conditioning works, but the units blow straight toward the sofa and bedroom bed, and the place still felt pretty hot. Leaving the windows open didn’t seem like a good option. There’s a washing machine and dishwasher. The apartment had been cleaned, but only superficially. Even the dishes and utensils were greasy and had to be washed again right away. Thank goodness for the dishwasher. Enjoy your stay.
