The breakfast was good, but the woman was unfriendly, unwelcoming, and quite rude. She scared my kids. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and the place felt damp and had no air conditioning.

The host was rude and condescending, and the whole thing felt very unprofessional. Her behavior was so awful that we didn't stay and went to a hotel instead. She was childish, unfriendly, and unwelcoming.

The place is beautifully renovated and impeccably run by the owner. You can see its history in the rooms straight away, in the beds, furniture, floors, and walls. And the breakfast was like a fairytale, worthy of a five-star hotel, with warm croissants, delicious coffee, and fabulous freshly squeezed orange juice.

The basement room had no windows, and the place felt filthy and gloomy. The woman wouldn't show us the rooms until we'd handed over our IDs. She smelled strongly of alcohol, spoke only Italian and not a word of English, and kept trying to lock the doors behind us while showing us around.
