B&B Tenuta della Duchessa

The owner served breakfast on the terrace and was very friendly and helpful. Her husband even brought us fresh fruit from their tree. We love animals, and they gave us useful tips for a short weekend itinerary we put together at the last minute, including a boat tour of the lagoon. We stayed in this magnificent villa over the August bank holiday. The room was spacious and incredibly clean. I’d give it six stars if I could. Highly recommended!

A quiet, tucked-away spot, and a great base for visiting the Po Delta. The B&B is welcoming, and the hosts are very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was just average.

Breakfast was a nice chance to sit around the table and chat with other guests, if you enjoy meeting people. The managers were friendly and attentive to every little need without being intrusive, and we quickly felt a connection with them. Our room was really more like an apartment, with a spacious bedroom, a living room and sofa, a TV we never turned on because we were too busy enjoying ourselves, a modern bathroom, hallways, and a furnished terrace for sunset light and lovely sunrises. The location feels like a holiday from the moment you arrive, and it works well whether you want to explore or just switch off. There are excellent seafood restaurants nearby. We only stayed two days, so next time I’ll spend more time reading on that fantastic terrace and less on sports and sightseeing. You can rent bikes, at least for a day. Some dogs are around, but they stay in their own area and only come over if you want them to. Thanks for the welcome and the very competitive price.

We stayed in October 2021, when the weather was unusually bad, but the place was still peaceful and relaxing. It’s a quiet area with plenty of possible outings: we went to Venice, the seaside, a nature reserve, and more. The house and property are fantastic, and both we and our dog were made to feel very welcome. The owners are wonderful and their hospitality is hard to match. They even surprised me for my birthday, which I really didn’t take for granted. Thank you for everything.
