8/10
The location is a 10/10, and I found the rooms, beds, and bathrooms completely clean. The bed was very comfortable, plumbing worked perfectly, and the shower was basic but hot enough. Towels were nice. It's a simple hotel with some old-fashioned finishes, and it could be cheaper. But if you like a slightly quirky place in a fantastic spot, this could suit you. If you want somewhere modern and without personality, it won't. I'd be happy to stay again. I think some negative reviews exaggerate.

Nice location and good breakfast, but the room was one of the worst I've stayed in. It needs a full renovation: there was mold throughout, including around the broken shower doors, which had apparently been fixed countless times. Nobody spoke English, and there was no parking as advertised.

The reception staff were really unpleasant, and the hotel felt old and dirty. Worst experience ever, don't go there.
