The apartment itself was lovely, clean, and spacious. We especially liked the terrace, and both bedrooms were comfortable, each with its own bathroom. Unfortunately, flooding had affected the beaches, especially on this side of the island, so getting out to visit them wasn’t convenient. And the sea, well, it just wasn’t like it had been during the first two days. Such a shame.

The owners were welcoming and kind, and the view was fabulous, almost like something out of a thousand and one nights. The apartment, though, had no air conditioning. During the week we stayed, the room felt like an oven.
