Camping Village & Glamping Rosselba Le Palme

The animation staff are absolutely the best, and there’s plenty to do at this great camping village. For the future, I’d like to see better upkeep of the accommodation, longer pool hours and better customer service at the restaurant. The long Italian summer can also get pretty hot and humid.

The accommodation and facilities were okay, but the restaurant service was terrible. We waited 1h 30 min for 3 pizzas, until our kid was crying from hunger. Nobody apologized, and when we tried to change the order to get our kid something to eat, the staff acted like they didn’t understand English. Service was very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this camping, especially the restaurant, to guests who don’t speak Italian. The island is beautiful, though, and there are other places and campings to stay.

I did have a very good experience overall, but I’m giving only 2 stars because the online information felt misleading and some services could be better. The location is hilly, but that wasn’t mentioned on the website or in the room descriptions. I’m fine with stairs, but people booking should be told. The pool is open 9-19, and in summer it should stay open at least until 20:00. You also have to wear a swimming cap, a first for me at a summer resort where you want to relax. I understand that rule at indoor swimming dedicated pools, but here it’s just another thing to worry about. There’s live music every night until 11. I don’t mind the music itself, but it’s so loud that you hear it from almost everywhere in the camping, so if you want a quiet evening in your room before 11, you’re stuck listening or need ear plugs. The included breakfast is a joke: at the Bar you get already made sandwiches or pasticeria, and coffee. After the 3 day I started making breakfast at home because I refused to eat the same bread every day. If you care about nutrition, forget breakfast here. And even if you book the apartment or chalet option, this is not an Hotel. The services and the way clients are treated don’t feel anything like a hotel experience. Expect camping-like services, though the good ones were fine. Keep these things in mind before booking; if they suit you, go for it.

We paid 1400 € for a mobile home with A/C, but the value for money was poor. The outdoor tent zippers were destroyed, and the A/C shook the whole structure so badly it sounded like a landing pad. There were no towels, we had to make the beds ourselves, and we got just 1 ml of dishwashing soap. The location is nice, with big trees around, and the pool is good for kids. There are also several activities for children.
