The house looks just like the interior photos, but the outside was a letdown. The yard is tiny and has no fence, so it didn't work for our dog. There's also a small pink house right next door, occupied by a woman, which isn't clear from the listing. Better exterior photos would help. The quiet surroundings were lovely, and it was nice to walk our dog with other dogs nearby, but the walkable beach was awful. It was covered in seagrass, both in the water and on shore, and didn't compare with the rest of the island. The supermarket and pharmacy are only a few meters away. Inside, there were some ants and bugs around the kitchenette and other corners. The dishes were sticky and unusable, and the closet smelled so bad that even leaving it open for hours didn't help. We couldn't put our clothes in it. The owner was extremely rude from the moment we arrived. She didn't show us around the home or explain things, which is usually what happens. The owners live nearby and sometimes spend time around the apartment. I felt watched and judged for having a dog. I'd avoid advertising the place as pet-friendly if that's not really the case. On our second day the owner called to say someone had seen our dog off leash, but that never happened. You need to bring your own sheets and linens, or pay €15 per person for them. There's no replacement set. On a stay of 15 days or longer, you have to keep using the same linens, wash them yourself, or pay another €15. For the price, a free change each week would be fair. Since it's in the countryside, there are plenty of mosquitoes, so bring repellent. It could be okay if you're out touring most of the time. If you want to relax at the apartment, especially with pets, I'd personally pick somewhere else.

Such a lovely place and a wonderful holiday. I'd come back!
