The area felt wonderfully local and peaceful, with three beaches less than a 15-minute walk away. Our favorite was Spaiggia della Ghiaie: close to town, but roomy and calm, with clear water and lots of little fish. We were glad we chose Carola's place after seeing how busy and touristy other parts of the island were. Carola made us feel at home from the start. She picked us up at the ferry with our enormous suitcases, shared helpful tips for beaches and nearby shops, and arranged a car with Enrico (TWN car rental, which we'd recommend). The apartment was clean, spacious, centrally located, and full of lovely natural light. We especially enjoyed the big balcony and the well-equipped kitchen, which opens onto one side of it. Cooking and eating there with the view was such a treat. We felt really looked after and would happily come back. There was one small issue, but Carola sorted it quickly and even brought us her favorite coffee as an apology. We appreciated that so much.

From the balcony you can catch a glimpse of the sea, and the home itself feels bright, charming, and welcoming. It was well equipped, too. Carola's kindness and the warm atmosphere made our time on Elba even more enjoyable. We’re truly grateful to Mrs. Carola for such a lovely stay.

Carola was attentive and easy to reach, always happy to share information about the area. The apartment was very clean and inviting, and the balcony looking over the sea and port was a real highlight, especially with the seagulls passing by. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, with parking close to the property. You can walk to the port, waterfront, Capobianco and Padulella beaches, as well as bars, restaurants, supermarkets, tobacconists, and the hospital.
