Residence Capobianco

You can avoid the parking chaos at both beaches from these apartments, which are between Padulella and Capo Bianco. The garden leads straight to Padulella, and it's only a two-minute drive to Portoferraio in a quiet area. The apartments are nice and a good size, though they're missing some basic things. There's covered parking, and Capo Bianco Experience is very close for a meal or takeaway. One limitation is that bookings are only available Saturday to Saturday. There's no washing machine or dishwasher. Highly recommended!

The owners are wonderful, always available and on site, and the apartments are clean, welcoming, and well kept. There's assigned parking too. I've had a fantastic experience here two years in a row. The location is excellent, practically right by the sea: go down a short ramp of about 20 steps and Padulella beach is on the right, with Capo Bianco beach on the left. I highly recommend it to everyone.

We were unlucky with our neighbors: a family with two children kept having another family over, and the unnecessary noise made it hard for us to talk to each other. The apartments are right next door, which took away from the beauty of the place and our holiday. The sea is beautiful, no question, and the residence itself is in a fantastic spot. The property overlooks Padulella beach, which is pretty but very crowded, and you reach it by a flight of steps. A little farther along is the stunning, equally crowded Capobianco beach, also easy to reach by sea. We stayed in Studio I during the week of August 15th. It was very small but had everything we needed, was tastefully and simply furnished, and came at a fair price. The residence is beautiful, with essential reserved parking. The kitchen is cramped, but the new bathroom has a small shower with a nice, generous flow. The bed is comfortable, though storage is limited. Air conditioning is charged by consumption. The outdoor space is lovely and useful, with a sea view, and separated from neighbors by a small wooden partition that looks nice but doesn't help much.

The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, and the location is amazing: a few steps take you to La Padulella, one of the island's most beautiful beaches. I spent a week at this residence, which has enormous potential, but the apartment needs more attention. There were cobwebs in the bedroom and kitchen, the bathroom has no window and only a fan, and the toilet is badly yellowed with age. The shower stall is half broken and takes a lot of effort to open, so it feels like it could break completely, and the shower head sprays water everywhere. The outside isn't well maintained either. The tiled area is so sloped that keeping the table level takes a lot of swearing. Weeds are everywhere, the rusty iron bench can't be used, and neither can the relaxation area. The loungers are rusty, dirty, and covered in cobwebs, and mosquitoes eat you alive in seconds. It's an extremely convenient, fantastic location, but the outdoor area should be made more usable and appealing, perhaps with proper mosquito treatment, and the apartments need more care. A few repairs and replacements could make this the best of the best. I'd return with my eyes closed.
