The great view from my room is the only reason I'm giving this hotel one star. It fell short on cleanliness, the quality of things like the towels and pillows, and sound isolation between rooms. The pictures show what I mean.

The bay view and location are very good, with just a short walk into Portofino's main town. The rooms are a bit tired, but quite adequate. I think it could use an upgrade to become a cute little boutique hotel, though for what it is, it's pretty good. I'd definitely recommend it.

The road just outside makes it a bit noisy, but the private beach is super nice. It's a charming place, the staff are very friendly and service minded, and the food is excellent.

The staff were amazing and helped us in ways that even surprised me. Andrea and Claudio went above and beyond. We really enjoyed both the hotel and the town, and we'll be back.

Andrea and the reception team gave me a warm welcome and made check-in easy from the moment I arrived. Their professionalism and hospitality set the tone for a fantastic stay. Hotel Piccolo was clean, comfortable and well maintained, with great amenities, a good location to the Portofino and an amazing view. I had an amazing experience and highly recommend hotel Piccolo. I'll definitely return.
