The owner’s kindness really stood out. After I slipped on the veranda and split my head open, he quickly checked the injury, got us into his car, and drove me to the emergency room himself. He stayed the whole time and helped us communicate with the hospital staff. From the accident until I was stitched up, it took less than an hour and a half. Kudos to the Italian health care system, very impressive. At checkout, Guisy said a prayer in Italian for the rest of our bike trip. We were staying at Aquila Reale while biking around Sicily. Our room looked out over the ocean and was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bathroom was modern and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

We took all the owners’ suggestions and found incredibly fresh fish at reasonable prices, plus gorgeous beaches with very few tourists. The continental breakfast was excellent, and our room was spacious, very clean, and had a magnificent view. This family-run B&B was perfect for us. The couple who run it are welcoming, attentive, kind, and professional. Thank you, Giusy and Salvatore!

You can leave the car behind here and walk to the center, the seaside square, and the beach, all just a short distance away. The place overlooks the sea and the island of Capo Passero, which makes it feel magical. The rooms were clean and welcoming, and Giusi makes homemade cakes for an excellent breakfast. She really makes you feel at home. Wonderful hospitality, we’ll be back.

Giusy and Salvatore were so courteous and kind, always ready to help and clearly very attentive to their guests. The place was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with a handy spot between the sea and the center of Portopalo di Capopassero. A lovely stay we’d happily repeat.

The view from the room’s balcony was AMAZING, just look at the photos. The rooms were spacious, bright, and clean, with big bathrooms, and the hosts were wonderful and friendly. Breakfast was generous and traditional, with wonderful croissants. There’s private parking, too, and the location is handy, about 5 minutes from the beach and main shopping street. RECOMMENDED!
