Daniela greeted us when we arrived and was available whenever we needed anything. She also gave us plenty of tips on what to do and how to get around. Giulia and Franco were helpful owners, and Giulia was attentive from the start, checking that everything was in order. We stayed in Levante in the last week of July and found it fairly easy to park for free beneath the apartment. The place had been completely renovated a year earlier, so everything was new, from the fixtures to the bathroom fittings. It was fairly clean, spacious, and well equipped, with Wi-Fi and TV. There are three air conditioners, though the one in the living area cooled all the rooms; the modern fixtures helped keep the space cool. The apartment has a nice living area with a built-in kitchen, induction hob, and dishwasher. It could use a few more cupboards and a draining board. There’s a large covered terrace, a double bedroom with a walk-in closet, a room with two single beds, and a bathroom with a large shower and washing machine. The location is excellent, just steps from the sea and Portopalo’s main street, with bars, restaurants, shops, and a pharmacy. Five well-deserved stars!

Rifugio dei Due Mari is a great base for relaxing and exploring southeastern Sicily and its wonderful beaches. We spent nine days at this beautiful, recently renovated property and I can only recommend it for an unforgettable holiday. Five stars, well earned. The location worked really well. Step outside and head right to reach the sea in just a few steps, or go left along Portopalo’s main street, where there are bars, restaurants, shops, and practically everything nearby. Julia, the owner, and Jessica, the local contact, were both available from the start and made sure our needs were met. Our Levante apartment had two bedrooms and a large covered terrace. It was clean, spacious, and well equipped, with three air conditioners that cooled it quickly. The induction hob made cooking quick, and the roomy bathroom had a large shower and washing machine. There’s also a dishwasher in the kitchen and Wi-Fi throughout the house.

That stunning sea view was a highlight. The holiday apartment was very clean and excellently equipped. Highly recommended.
