Basic rooms, but they were clean and spacious. The location and view are great, with a nice pool, friendly staff, and good breakfast. I also found the garage for my motorbike was reasonably priced. It costs to stay somewhere so well placed, but we'll come back.

This doesn't feel like a legitimate four-star hotel. Poor management shows everywhere, and I feel sorry for the wonderful staff. With unemployment high in Italy, I got the impression they had to comply with an owner who seemed shady. We were tricked and ripped off, and even the Wi-Fi you'd expect to be free felt like a scam. I've never written a negative review before, but don't stay here.

The restaurant was the best part for us, with splendid service and food that left nothing to complain about. The hotel rooms were also very nice and clean. We recommend it!

The rooms are on the small side, but they have all the amenities. The views are amazing, and you can walk to Portovenere's center in a few minutes. It's a good hotel right by the sea.
