We really enjoyed our stay at La Villetta and would happily come back. The house worked perfectly for four, right by the pebble beach, with a grocery shop an easy walk away. Lorella welcomed us warmly, showed us around and explained how everything worked in her best English. We were also treated to two delicious wines, one red and one white, plus crackers. There’s plenty to do nearby: Portovenere is lovely at night with its old buildings lit up, and Le Cinque Terre is easy to reach by boat or train. Carrara and its marble area are about an hour and a half by car and well worth seeing. Genoa is roughly an hour away and full of history. The island across from Portovenere is beautiful too, with great places to walk and enjoy nature.

We had a beautiful view from the garden terrace, and the apartment was in a great spot, peaceful but still close to the center. It was also a lovely, clean, well-equipped place for our family of two adults and two children. Lorella gave us a warm, friendly welcome late in the evening and was kind and helpful throughout. The town is beautiful and makes a great base for visiting the Cinque Terre by boat or train. Highly recommended!
