Torre A Mare Porto Venere

The rooms are quaint and updated, though a bit small. By European standards, they're average to larger than average. We had beautiful views of the town and harbor from the room and at breakfast. It's easy to get around on foot from this great location, with lots of restaurants to choose from.

The staff were attentive and welcoming, and everything felt clean, well cared for, and thoughtfully arranged. The place has a special charm, mixing history with comfort so it feels cozy and a little extraordinary at the same time. I spent three days at Torre Porto Venere in March 2026 for my birthday. The setting and breathtaking views made each morning relaxing and memorable. It was a perfect getaway, and I'd recommend it for a romantic or restful escape. I'd love to return. Thank you, Milena.

The sea view is beautiful, and you can walk to everything from this perfectly located hotel. It's new, very clean, and housekeeping was impeccable. My one issue was breakfast: it was the same each day and could have used more variety, perhaps fresh vegetables such as tomatoes and cucumbers, or eggs or an omelette. Still, I highly recommend it.

I would never return to this hotel. I waited by the door for about half an hour because they wouldn't let me in, there were no check-in instructions, and no one answered my calls. Eventually I found another phone number myself. The host then said the room wasn't ready and offered a different, non-hotel room through some stranger from the street. Booking.com ultimately canceled the reservation. Avoid this hotel. The service was terrible, and I say the hotel is a liar: it has no parking and no parking agreement. The parking they give you is CLOSED! :(
