We still find ourselves talking about our week at Guparza, and we’d love to return. Even though we only knew a little Italian, Pietro and his family made the four of us feel included, including our two young children. We were the only guests for a few early-season days, but they welcomed us warmly and invited us to share their traditional Easter meal, a lovely chance to see family and friends celebrating together in Sardinia. Antonio took great care of us throughout the week. The home cooking was wonderful, and even our three-year-old ate happily without a complaint.

The pool and the gorgeous view made it easy to unwind here. Our room was spotless, the place was quiet, and the atmosphere felt truly restful. We also enjoyed the varied, tasty food and appreciated having plenty of parking. We left very happy and would gladly come back. Highly recommended.

The staff were friendly, and the setting is pleasant, but several things let the stay down. Communication was difficult as a tourist because the staff didn’t speak English. The room was fine, though I didn’t feel it justified the price. Breakfast also disappointed me for an agritourism stay: there were no homemade or local products, and I found an insect in the milk from the machine. At the restaurant, the food and service were average. For example, they brought the cheese starter out with the main course. The wine was good, and I think it may be the only genuinely local product they offer. The swimming pool is nice. Thanks for the stay.

The historic city of posada and a lovely beach are both under a ten-minute drive away. I spent five days here and enjoyed every one. The food was amazing, and everyone was so friendly and caring that it nearly felt like home. It’s a beautiful spot, quiet all around, and just right for slowing down and feeling good.

We only came for a meal, and it was phenomenal. There was plenty of fresh, delicious food, and I even enjoyed things I’d normally skip, like tripe and eggplant. The owner was incredibly friendly and made our large group feel welcome. Service was great too, even though speaking English wasn’t easy for them.
