The hosts were warm and very accommodating, going out of their way to make the stay feel special. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, and the views over Positano are among the best. A real gem, and a fantastic place to stay.

The family makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive, and there's such a peaceful feeling here. Casa Monticello sits above Positano's busy streets, with magnificent views over the town and the Meditteranean Sea. Teresa speaks English fluently and can help with travel plans, while Raffaele has a private boat for lovely trips along the coast, including Capri. I've stayed four times in the past three years and plan to return in 2019. It's a magical place, and I'd give it more stars if I could.

The bus stop is right by the entrance, and there's a grocery store just a few minutes away with fine wines too. The apartments are excellent, and the view from this spot high above Positano is breathtaking.
