Holiday House Gilda

Antonella stayed in touch and helped with anything we needed, and she and her family made us feel like part of theirs. Between the price, location, and service, this place is a real deal. The apartment was clean, with a comfortable, spacious bedroom and A/C, a full bathroom, a complete kitchen, and a washing machine. There’s also a private entrance connecting the property to Arienzo Beach, and they provide beach towels. The view is astonishing, and the place itself is gorgeous. It’s quiet at night and very close to the center of Positano. The walk to the center takes 15 minutes. My wife and I walk 3 miles every day, so it wasn’t a problem for us. I’m posting pictures to show this is a real review, not fakes like the 1 star ones. Highly recommended if you want a top place with a great view and location. We’ll be back for sure. Antonella was a great host and kept checking whether we needed anything. The place was super clean and spacious, with an excellent view. We had an awesome stay and will definitely come back when we’re in town.

Breakfast every morning and Gilda’s warm welcome made us feel right at home. Rosa was quick to answer our questions, and Gilda even called to arrange a free shuttle to a local restaurant near the top of Positano. Their adorable dog Miguel was so friendly too. We loved our stay at Holiday House Gilda, and the view from the balcony alone was worth it. The room was nice and clean. Our only complaint was the very firm bed, though that’s just not our preference and others may like it. We’d love to stay again!

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Holiday House Gilda, and we’ve already recommended it to others visiting the Amalfi coast. Given how expensive taxis are in Positano, the list of restaurants that offered free shuttle service to and from the property was a great help. We stayed in late April 2017 and were upgraded when we arrived to a better room with a private terrace overlooking the sea and a fantastic view of Positano. Rosa helped with our luggage, explained the property and area, and provided bus and ferry schedules. Gilda and her husband provided breakfast. Five stars plus!
