The staff were very helpful with anything we needed, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was 5/5. I'm vegan and expected limited choices, but they went to a lot of effort and ordered plenty for me: vegan biscotti, croissants, fruit, and toast with avocados, along with separate options for the people travelling with me. One staff member even made me a late night dinner when I couldn't find anything to eat in Positano. Room service was quick with tea or coffee, and they brought soy milk too. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean, and well kept, with all amenities included. The beds were comfortable, the Wi-Fi and AC worked well, and the balcony views were stunning. The location was good, though there were plenty of steps to climb, as expected. Bus services are available after some walking. My one complaint was a slight smell from the bathroom drain in the morning. I'd definitely come back.

The staff arranged a private transfer from Naples after we arrived by train, and gave us useful information about ferries and buses. They were pleasant and helpful throughout. My wife and I were in Positano for our 20th anniversary and had a very happy stay at La Bizantina. Our junior suite was spacious, bright, clean, and had a lovely ocean view. Breakfast was more than enough, with fruit, meats, cheese, bread, jams, croissants, yogurt, and an egg on offer. They made the coffee just how we liked it. Shops are about a 10 minute walk away, and the beach takes around 15-20 minutes on foot. We also enjoyed the Mediterranean restaurant a few minutes down the hill. I'd stay here again.

The Positano style details on the walls and throughout the building were beautiful, and the location was charming. We liked the sea view from our balcony and the cleanliness of the room, building, and shower bathroom. The host came across as more bitter than welcoming. At breakfast, she refused a simple request for black tea, saying she only served coffee or cappuccino. We felt it would have been easy to provide a tea bag in hot water. Why would a B&B or hotel refuse to serve such a basic breakfast option?

My husband and I got married on the terrace, and everything was arranged so beautifully that I hardly had to do anything. The room was stunning, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It's the nicest hotel I've stayed in, and I'd recommend it!
