La Gasparina

We stayed in a cute, clean room with a large terrace and a nice view of the fornillo area. Breakfast was at the family's restaurant, Il Fornillo, and Mama Margarita was such a joy to talk to. Everyone was warm and welcoming, real Italian hospitality. It's a great option in a great location in Positano. We look forward to coming back to town and visiting the family again.

Alessandro went out of his way to move our luggage from the villa we were leaving to our new room with his family. His mother, our Italian nonna, was a joy to spend time with, and the food at their restaurant and at breakfast was 10/10. They were all so willing to help with anything we needed. We can't wait to visit again. Grazie mille.

The balcony and view were amazing, and the guest house had all the amenities we needed, including much-needed AC. It's a lovely place to wake up, with Positano views, good weather, and a firm mattress, then enjoy breakfast. Alessandro was great, helping with our luggage and sharing tips. Breakfast at his family restaurant was included and amazing: a croissant that won over someone who usually doesn't like plain croissants, great orange juice, plus eggs and prosciutto. The hospitality was wonderful. We felt special, drank wine, and had great conversations with the patrons. If you come, take the road rather than the stairs. We'll stay again. Alessandro and his family were excellent hosts. They quickly took our luggage to the room when we arrived and gave us Prosecco and light snacks at their restaurant. Breakfast each morning was complimentary, fresh, homemade, and delicious. Alessandro was also quick to respond to questions and offer recommendations during our stay. It's a great location, and you don't have to climb many steps to get there. We really enjoyed our visit and would stay again.
