Le Nereidi

Breakfast was delicious and generous each day, served in a lovely outdoor dining area, and Columba was a wonderfully friendly hostess. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and charming, with a view that took my breath away every day. It’s also just steps from the local bus stop. There are more than 100 stairs from the street up to the Le Nereidi entrance, though there’s a luggage elevator, so you don’t need to carry bags up them. I managed the stairs without it affecting my stay, but they could be an issue for some people. I still dream about coming back. I stayed here in summer 2016.

We had a great terrace for coffee with that amazing view, and the room and bathroom were plenty big, with a bathtub too. The place was cozy, clean, and the host was really kind and friendly. Netflix in the late evening was nice. Would totally come back 🤌🏻🥰🤩

The hostess tried to charge us extra for breakfast, even though this was a B&B. Getting to her gate at road level already involved plenty of steps, and once inside the property there were another 168 to climb. She said the bus stop was about two minutes away, but that wasn’t true. The place is far from everything, and being so high up made that feel even more pronounced. You don’t

169 steps from the road up to the house is a lot, but the view, the spacious place, and especially the wonderful hostess made it well worth the climb.
