Palazzo Marzoli Resort

I booked at the last minute and hadn't read reviews beforehand. Unfortunately, the stay wasn't satisfactory. On my first day, I was told parking would cost €80 a day, even though I visited in September, outside high season. After I spoke with the owner, the price came down to €60 daily. Nearby parking lots charge around €50 a day. Breakfast came to the room and was very basic: one egg, coffee with milk, and a croissant. Anything extra cost more, for example, €10 for an omelet or €10-15 for fruit. I also missed some basic amenities, as there was no liquid soap, only old-fashioned round bars. I left a sweater in the room. When I went back to ask about it, I was told it hadn't been found. More transparency about fees, better breakfast, and closer attention to amenities would make the experience more enjoyable.

The staff were warm and helpful, and the service was excellent. Our spotless room had a stunning view of Positano, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. We had an amazing time at Palazzo Marzoli. I'd highly recommend it for a relaxing stay!

Their patience, kindness, and smiles made us feel like family. Even small things mattered, from the easy check-in and thoughtful housekeeping to taking the time to answer every little question. You can see how proud the staff are of their work and how much they love their city. We booked a suite, and I'm so glad we did. It was spacious and luxurious, with broad views that made waking up feel like a dream. The balcony alone was worth the price, with Positano spread out in front of us. The hotel itself is beautiful, with thoughtful, authentic details that bring out the town's natural charm. The views are picture perfect, and the atmosphere feels peaceful and elegant without being pretentious. Positano is breathtaking on its own, but this hotel and its people made the whole trip unforgettable. We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and deeply touched by the kindness we received. This was easily the best hotel experience we've ever had, and the front desk team was a huge part of it. I'd recommend the place to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast, and I'm already dreaming about coming back.

Positano was beautiful, and the location and views were amazing. That's about where the good parts ended. Breakfast was awful, and they charged €62 a night to keep our car. It was only €10 a night in Sicily. The prices here were ridiculous, and the place felt dodgy and unprofessional, like something wasn't right. We noticed at checkout that cameras seemed to be pointed at every balcony around the clock. Definitely visit Positano, but find somewhere more professional to stay. Read the reviews, we can't all be wrong.
