The front desk showed us to our large room, which had a lovely view over the sea. We loved our one-night stop here during a walking trip and had an amazing dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was super tasty, they included a couple of freebies, and the local Rosè was delicious.

We’ve been coming back to Hotel Pupetto regularly for more than 10 years, and it’s always impeccably maintained and clean. The staff are responsive and helpful, even with porter service, and the complimentary breakfast is fantastic. The views from every room are amazing. It’s an easy choice if you want a more authentic experience in Positano. We can’t say enough good things about Hotel Pupetto and are already planning our next visit!

I’ve stayed at Hotel Pupetto three times, in 2026, 2023, and 2015, and I absolutely love it. It’s away from the busy Spiaggia Beach by the ferry dock, but the walk to the center of town is short, scenic, and about 10 minutes. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast has lots of good options. You can’t beat the view while you eat. If you’re after a clean, quiet, affordable place with an amazing view of the Tyrrhenian Sea, I’d give it 10/10.

In a town full of climbs, this is a perfect place to stay. There’s a private beach with food and bar service, and the balcony looks right out at the Mediterranean 💙💙💙. The room was clean, and the bathroom was great, American great.

Veronica and the whole staff were really pleasant and helpful while we were figuring out a new city. Hotel Pupetto was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. A tip for getting around with luggage: ask your taxi to drop you at the town center, then take the route with fewer stairs and more ramp. The side streets and stairways aren’t ideal with bags 😃.
