Villa genny and emily

We stayed in a sparkling clean home tucked into the mountainside in a quiet area above Positano. There’s a market and several restaurants within walking distance, and we took the bus many times. It’s a fun, winding ride. Genny and his whole family were incredibly kind and attentive. They helped with restaurant bookings, bus instructions, taxis, local tips, and even things we hadn’t realized we needed. Each morning they made us breakfast with coffee, juice, eggs, and fruit. They also offer a cooking class. We can’t wait to visit again!

Emily and her family were awesome, and everything was well organized. The food was delicious and we had lots of fun. We cooked in a partly open kitchen with a perfect view of the sea and Positano. Wonderful people and a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

The class took around 3-4 hours, and we ended by eating the dishes on Emily’s beautiful patio. Everything was made thoughtfully and with intention, and some ingredients had even been picked from their garden. Emily and her mom took such great care of us during the gnocchi class, where we made gnocchi, meatballs, and the best tiramisu I’ve ever tasted. It was an amazing, unforgettable experience and the highlight of our Positano trip. If you’re nearby, you have to do it!

I loved spending time with Emily, Genny, and their parents. They’re kind, welcoming, regular people, and their home made me feel like a family friend instead of a tourist. The food we prepared with their guidance was incredible, as was the view. The price was very affordable too. Easily the highlight of my time in Italy.
