Villa Lavinia

We kept saying how beautiful it was here, both inside the house and around it. The views from the terrace and balcony were breathtaking, and the house was cozy, functional, and tastefully furnished. There are two comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a fully equipped kitchen where we could have meals together looking out over enchanting Amalfi. Angela, our hostess, was a real delight. She welcomed us with prosecco and a smile, and made us feel cared for right away. Even though the entrance is a little challenging because of the stairs, it's so picturesque that we immediately felt we'd arrived somewhere special. You can take the bus to Positano, though it can get crowded. Even that ride has its charm, with a joyful Italian atmosphere. This place has a unique quality that's hard to describe, and you have to experience it to understand the beauty of Amalfi. We wholeheartedly recommend it. Our stay was magical and will stay in our memories.
