Villa Nettuno

Antonio and his brothers greeted us and carried our bags straight to the room when we arrived. Antonio was incredibly helpful with recommendations, reservations, and explaining the local transport system. He alone makes Villa Nettuno worth staying at, and we’ll think of him as a good friend. The villa is right in the middle of Positano, beside one of the best restaurants in town and the best pharmacy on the Amalfi Coast. Our room was beautiful and spacious, with clear views of the sea and hillsides. The bathroom was roomy and the shower was heavenly. Housekeeping refilled the free snacks and Lavazza coffee every day, which we mostly had for breakfast. My wife and I will keep calling Villa Nettuno home whenever we visit Positano. If I could give it six stars out of five, I would!

Antonio and Davide made us feel like family, with thoughtful suggestions for food, tours, and enjoying town like a local. The rooms are modern and spotless, with useful details like USB-C outlets throughout. The fridge was refilled daily with complimentary drinks and snacks, and the Dolomia bath products made even a quick shower feel a little special. From the balcony, Positano spills down the cliffs, with boats on the water and sunsets that stay with you. Villa Nettuno has the kind of views and hospitality that make you want to return before you’ve even left.

We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back. The rooms combine the charm of a family-run B&B with the feel of a fancy hotel, and the hosts shared great recommendations and tips. Inside, the rooms have a wonderful view of the city and ocean, air conditioning, a very modern luxurious shower, and a super comfortable bed. It’s a bit of a walk from the port, with quite a few stairs from the road up to the hotel. Keep that in mind if you don’t like long walks or aren’t comfortable with stairs. There are good restaurants nearby for dinner and breakfast, and a porter service in town can take your bags.

The people running Villa Nettuno were so warm and welcoming, and the rooms were roomy, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. We also appreciated finding complimentary water, soft drinks, and beer in the mini fridge. From our balcony we watched a local celebration’s fireworks over Positano, an unforgettable sight. This was my second visit to town, and I’ll choose Villa Nettuno again next time. Highly recommend.
