The pool had lots of features and attractions for families, and the resort has plenty to keep kids busy, including a lovely indoor playground and play areas with toys. We stayed a full week and had a very positive experience overall. The resort is especially good for families. The saunas and relaxing wellness area were enjoyable, and restaurant and bar prices were very reasonable. The ski area is right next to the resort, which is handy, though it may not suit very small children or complete beginners. My main disappointment was the pool upkeep, since the water often looked dirty. Elsewhere, the toilets, showers and shared spaces were all very clean and well maintained. We'd recommend the resort, particularly for families with children.

We usually don't return to the same place, but Vidor Hotel brought us back to Pozza di Fassa, and I’m sure we’ll go again. The pool area is perfect for relaxing in the afternoon. The outdoor pool water is so hot, even when it's snowing, that you feel warm enough to stay in it forever. We've tried other hotels with outdoor pools, but none had hot water like this. The slides were fantastic too, a fun afternoon for kids and adults. It's an ideal family hotel in a dreamy area.

The best parts were the Dolomites views, the Kids Club, and the sanitary facilities, which seemed clean, though the dim lighting made it easy to miss a spot or two. A man with glasses at the pool bar was super friendly and helped guests who were lost in the wellness area, where the signs weren't clear. An older restaurant waiter also made a difference by persuading the Chef to swap our child's side from French Fries to Pasta. We spent three nights camping and paid 486 euros for two adults and one child. With that price, I expected more help anticipating what guests need. Staff stuck to the boss's rule of “we have always done it like this,” and said only the boss, who wasn't there that day, could help. I asked to swap our sauna access, usually 24€, for gym access at 5€, since we don't use saunas. They refused. We had assumed Fitness was included in Wellness, but that was our mistake, as staff hadn't explained what the package covered. We were also assigned another camper on our pitch, leaving us without power for one night. The apology was considered sufficient, but it was made to seem like our fault for not telling reception that evening. We only managed to use the pool twice during our three days, for about 1-1.5 hours each time, despite paying over 200€ extra for the wellness package. The pool hours are limited, so the package only makes sense if you use it daily for much of the day. Pool hygiene and maintenance were poor, and the changing-room showers ran for just five seconds at a time, which was very annoying. The restaurant's kids menu was limited, and our child refused the ready-to-cook quality schnitzel. The last flight of stairs to the Kids Club was dark. The motion sensor took a few seconds to turn on the light, making it spooky for kids and easy to miss the last 3-5 steps. I could have raised all this in person, but nobody showed any interest over the few days we were there. Hiding away seemed to work better.

The pitches had lovely views of the Dolomites, and the bathrooms were nice and kept in good shape. The pool area also had a lovely male staff member with glasses, and staff were generally pleasant and cordial. We were visiting from California and stayed three nights. Be aware that the pool and wellness centers have limited opening hours, which overlap with the times people would usually be out enjoying the Dolomites, so you may not get to use them. The bathroom and changing areas were confusing to navigate, with very little guidance from staff in the aqua area. The website didn't match what we experienced, and the price didn't feel like good value.

The mountain views were amazing, and we used the lovely warm pool a lot. Everything was clean and well cared for, especially the modern sanitary facilities, which were always tidy. Our pitch did feel a bit cramped because it was small, but we still really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the campsite.
