Kalura

We picked Kalura B&B because it was the only place in Pozzallo that would take dogs, and Salvatore was so welcoming to Milo. The sea is just a few steps away, with clear water and a really wide beach. Our room was spotless and spacious, and the small fridge was handy for keeping water cold. Breakfast on the terrace had lots to choose from. We’ve just come home after a week here and hope to be back soon. Greetings from Turin.

The location is practically right on the seafront, and the price was very competitive for it. We spent about ten days here on a summer trip, touring southern Sicily and enjoying the island’s sea. The couple who run the place really make you feel at home. Our room was clean and well equipped, and the staff were professional. Breakfast was plentiful every day, even when we came down late. Highly recommended!

Salvatore, the manager, is always ready to help and never gets in your way. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and roomy, with all the comforts we needed. There’s a nice terrace for breakfast, plus two kitchens where guests can eat if they don’t feel like going out for lunch or dinner. It’s a simple place in a great spot near both the sea and town, and works well for couples or families.

We were four people, with a baby and a dog, staying over the last weekend of September. The staff were kind and the location was great, but the room comforts and services left a lot to be desired. We also found rat poison that our dog accidentally ate. Then, once we got home, a cockroach came out of a suitcase.
