Casa del Contrabbandiere

The homemade dishes are delicious and inventive, with fish, meat, and pasta on offer. They have the refinement of a “star” restaurant. The host was amazing, and he explained the menu himself. The wine list is nice, mostly local as well as Italian wines from elsewhere, to pair with the plates. Looking forward to going back tonight 😍😍

I stayed just one night and wish I'd planned a longer visit. This small B&B is in a quaint town between two tourist areas, close enough to reach them without being in the congestion. Lorenzo or Valentina, the owners, will greet you and make you feel at home. The rooms are great, and breakfast is very good. I loved the personal touch of a small B&B. After that, it's hard to imagine choosing a big box hotel again.

I came back after many years for a baptism, and it still had the same qualities I found about 20 years ago. The historic venue is beautiful and well preserved, the service is great, and Lorenzo and his family serve dishes of very high quality. The tortelloni and risotto were outstanding 👏👏👏

A lovely, atmospheric interior and very attentive service, with the chef himself taking time to explain the menu. The food was delicious and makes for a nice break from the usual pizza and pasta. It’s more adult-oriented, which makes it a perfect romantic getaway.
