Pozzuoli has plenty of great places to discover on foot or by bike, including along the 'lungomare', with lots of restaurants and bars right around the central location. Stefania was generous and always ready to help with any issue. The B&B AL LARGO is the place to stay when you visit Pozzuoli.

The room was cozy, tidy, and well arranged, and the host was happy to share helpful information and suggestions. The central location makes it easy to get around without a car: the port, trains to Napoli and other Campi Flegrei destinations, shops, restaurants, and bars are all within walking distance. Pozzuoli itself deserves more than a quick stop on the way to the islands. There's a lot to see, including its ancient history and sites, Italy's third-largest ancient amphitheater, volcanic landscapes, scenic lakes and hills, and the seafront promenade. The old historic center, closed for decades after the earthquake in the 1980s, has recently reopened, and the bars and restaurants have a pleasant atmosphere. Plenty more makes it a lovely place to stay.

AL LARGO is a small B&B, but the room was spacious and clean, with all the comforts I needed, including a fridge, great WiFi, and heating and air conditioning. It was easy to get a good night's sleep here. The B&B is right in the pedestrian area, seconds from the waterfront and ferries, with plenty of lovely restaurants, shops, and enotecas, or wine bars, close by. Stefania is thorough and makes sure you have what you need, from room comforts to information. Agree on a clear plan with her for finding the place when you arrive near the port, since it can be hard to locate and she may not be there. I found WhatsApp on iOS or Android worked well for reaching her. If you're offline, nearly all the local cafes and restaurants have free WiFi you can use to get in touch. AL LARGO is convenient and comfortable.

The owners were warm and very helpful, which made our stay even nicer. The apartment is a high standard and sits right in the center of Pozzuoli, making it easy to reach the old town and the best restaurants and bars.

Stefania was always there when we needed anything, even helping us plan our outings. Her suggestions and advice made our four days unforgettable. The room was charming and had every comfort, and the central location put us close to everything. We'll definitely be back! ❤️
