We felt so welcome here, thanks to the caring owner and staff. Dinner was delicious, and if you’re among the first to eat, grab a window seat for the view of Sestrieres down in the valley. The inside is wonderfully cozy, all wood, with vintage wooden ski gear on the walls. The exterior doesn’t give you the same impression. And the location is breathtaking, with a 360 view of the mountains. Seeing the first or last sunlight on the nearby peaks is worth the trip on its own. We’ll definitely return when we can.

The food was mediocre, and lunch here cost us two hours of our ski day. The bar and waitstaff were the rudest and slowest I’ve come across in years, with staff acting angry. A perfect way to ruin a day on the slopes.

Be cautious if you’re arriving with a big group: the restaurant is very firm about not splitting the bill. They also charge a 10% service fee, which none of the other restaurants charge, and don’t seem happy about earning it.

For a great time after skiing, this is the best hotel if you enjoy skiing and want to stay somewhere beautiful.

The staff were useless and got grumpy. The menu information was wrong, some items we ordered never arrived, and they couldn’t even add up the bill correctly.
