The owner was kind and very helpful, and we loved the outdoor space where we could eat. The house is carefully kept and even has a washing machine and mosquito nets. Our kids especially enjoyed the books and games. It's also easy to walk to the beach with children, and the apartment is near a supermarket and the pedestrian street full of restaurants and shops.

Our weekend in the Praia a Mare apartment with our two children was a lovely one. The owner was very helpful with tips for excursions, beaches, and restaurants serving excellent local food. The apartment itself is elegant and tastefully furnished, with a real focus on cleanliness and guest comfort. It's set up for children, with a high chair, crib, books, and games, and the outdoor area was a great place for them to play safely. The town has plenty for families too: the sea, public beaches, and lidos are only a few minutes away on foot, and there's a tree-lined avenue for strolling with places to suit different tastes. We loved how close the Lulù Marin apartments are to the center and the sea, and the comfort and cleanliness were excellent. The small touches really stood out, like the mosquito repellent stove and refillable garbage bags. There were even books and games for the little ones, and our son had a blast. It was the perfect vacation for us.

For a short visit with no more than four people, this could work. It's central, with a Conad supermarket, shops, restaurants, bars, and the sea just 250 meters away, all reachable on foot. The place is nicely kept and attractive, and the owner tried to help with the things we were missing. But we stayed three weeks as a family of four adults and two children, and it wasn't practical for that many people. Even with two double bedrooms, one of which has an extra single bed, there was hardly room to move around. The closets have too little space and no shelves or drawers, and there's nowhere to store canned food and other things. The bidet and toilet are right next to each other, making the bidet impossible to use. The old washing machine was very noisy and didn't clean our clothes properly. There are no mosquito nets, and we got eaten alive by mosquitoes. The terrace is attractive, but it gets sun until late afternoon, so it's mostly unusable and heats the whole house. With no air conditioning, it became an oven. The owner did quickly bring us two powerful new fans, which helped, but having to sleep with them blowing straight at us wasn't a solution. I also wouldn't recommend August: the narrow alley and ground-floor windows facing the street meant constant noise and no decent night's sleep. Some very unsavory regulars arrive every year that month, making the place unbearable. I hope this helps.
