B&B La Barbera

We stayed several nights, and our only regret is not staying longer. The room was beautiful, and the view, food, and staff were all exceptional. The team even gave us detailed directions and tips for our hikes. We think of ourselves as pretty low-key, but the staff’s attentiveness was next-level. I told my wife more than once that every other hotel I stay in might be ruined for me after this. They truly earned that perfect five-star rating.

The shared dining area made for a relaxed atmosphere, and we got to know some wonderful couples over breakfast. Breakfast itself was generous, delicious, and clearly made with care. We felt spoiled every morning. Our room was spotless and beautifully designed, with breathtaking views. My husband Jason and I spent a week at La Barbera for our honeymoon, and the whole team made us feel so welcome that by the end, leaving felt like saying goodbye to family. Everything exceeded our expectations. This trip made such a positive impression on both of us, and we’re already dreaming of coming back. If you’re considering La Barbera, do it. The rooms were spotless, the beds and pillows comfortable, and the views stunning. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, with fresh juices, omelets, homemade cakes, fresh bread and baked goods, and coffee. You can also request drinks and snacks during the day. They make an outstanding Aperol spritz. The hospitality exceeded our already high expectations. Before our trip, the team booked all our restaurant reservations, arranged private transportation from Naples, and promptly answered our questions. While we were there, Francesco, Roberto, and Sylvia gave us helpful advice and directions, and even offered car rides when we needed to get somewhere. They were warm throughout our stay. If you’re planning a trip to Praiano, this is unquestionably the place to stay.

The staff made us feel like family, and Roberto, Francesco, and Sylvia were there for us throughout our honeymoon stay. They recommended dinner spots, helped us figure out the local bus, and suggested wine, then brought the bottle up to our room with snacks. There’s so much more they did, too. B&B La Barbera was magical. Our room was pristine, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the patio had an unbelievable view, a jacuzzi, an outdoor shower, and two lounge chairs. Each room has those patio features. Breakfast was customized daily, and the whole experience was unforgettable. Praiano is a beautiful town just outside Positano. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a quieter, more authentic Amalfi Coast experience with plenty to do. We miss it already and can’t wait to return to our friends at B&B La Barbera.
