Hotel Le Fioriere

We felt genuinely welcome at Le Fioriere, especially thanks to Rosalia, her daughter, and her son Luigi. The hotel is cozy, tastefully decorated, very clean, and clearly well cared for. Breakfast was made to order and generous, with pastries, charcuterie, eggs, cheese, juice, and sweets. The rooftop terrace also serves good food and drinks, with gorgeous views across the Mediterranean. We highly recommend Hotel Le Fioriere.

The main thing I’d change is the bedding: the top comforter was so thin that we felt a little cold at night. Otherwise, we had a nice room and bathroom, good service, and kind receptionists who were always ready to answer questions. Breakfast was decent, though nothing special. The location worked well for getting around, about 15 minutes from Positano and 30 from Amalfi.

It’s easy to get around from here: the hotel is on Praiano’s main road, with parking on site, restaurants and small shops nearby, and a local bus stop just steps away. You can reach towns from Sorrento to Maiori without much trouble. Another big plus is the ocean-view terrace restaurant, where the food is delicious and the drinks and friendly service are great. Breakfast is good too. We first came a few years ago and liked it enough to return. It’s family run, and the owner and family make you feel like a friend. The spacious rooms are comfortable and spotless. There’s no need to haul luggage up stairs or steep roads from the main road, which is common at many Amalfi Coast hotels.

We stayed at your charming hotel last July, and still talk about the dinners a year later. Chef Valerio’s rooftop dishes were memorable, and Sarina and Domenico made us feel especially welcome. The terrace views at night and the conversations with staff made each dinner feel special. From check-in to checkout, everyone looked after us and made the stay easy. The cleaning team kept our room spotless, with fresh towels and linens. Restaurant staff were kind and served delicious food. We always looked forward to the plentiful breakfast, with fruit, pastries, eggs, yoghurt, cold cuts, fresh juice, and more. Momma Rosa, Rosalina, Luigi, and all the staff, we hope you and your families are well. Sorry this review took so long. Praiano has a lovely historic character and a warm local community, and Le Fiorerie Hotel is a must see. We’ll be back in July and hope to visit your family again.
