The room was modern, with a super comfy bed and a nice view. The bathroom had everything, though it was a little small. We did have an issue with the water pressure, but the facility responded quickly. The front desk lady gave us a very nice welcome and walked us the 30m from the entrance to our bedroom. We lost a star mainly because, when we arrived, we were offered lots of extras for an additional cost: breakfast, parking, lunch, dinner, and access to the swimming pool. Paying for add-on services is fair, and the intention was good, but the way they presented it made us feel we’d miss out if we declined. The property is managed by Tramonto d’oro.

Our room was smaller than the Ad made it look, with no full length mirror and barely anywhere to sit. There was just one desk chair, no other furniture, and nothing for the terrace, which had no room for anything anyway. The shower was much smaller than pictured, and its head couldn’t be adjusted, so the water shot at the back wall. I had to hold it and use it by hand. The bed was rock hard, even for us, since we usually like firm mattresses. We woke up sore. The trip to the so-called beach meant 400 steps down to a concrete slab, with an overpriced restaurant beside it and no sand in sight. We were stuck in the room for much of two days because of heavy rain, and there was nowhere indoors to go in Praiano except to eat. The town seems to have nothing but restaurants. It’s far from everything, right at the edge of town, and the place, which is part of the Tromonto D'oro hotel, was really just a small hotel room. Getting a taxi was nearly impossible unless the hotel arranged it. The area charges insane fares, 90 euros for the 3km ride to the next town, and the hotel added fees on top when it booked one for us. I felt like I was paying someone to hold me hostage. After paying the ransom to get to Amalfi and Ravello, we knew we’d picked the wrong hotel and location for our time on the Amalfi coast. Next time, we’ll stay in Ravello.

The view of Capri and Positano from our balcony was beautiful. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it.

The owner's son was often in a bad mood, and now parking costs 10 a day, which feels ridiculous. It used to be a good place to stay, but there are better options nearby. I wouldn't recommend it.
