We've stayed at Hotel Villa Maria Pia twice in two years, most recently after coming home from our Amalfi Coast trip two weeks ago. After the first visit, we knew HVMP was the only Amalfi Coast hotel we'd ever stay at. We couldn't wait to get back, and once again we were very sad to leave. This place and its people have our hearts. The family and staff make you feel like one of their own. They're warm, kind, caring, helpful and knowledgeable, and twice they've gone out of their way to help with issues unrelated to our stay. Everyone sincerely wants guests to enjoy the Amalfi Coast and helps however they can. GUILIA, NELLO, MARTIN and the rest of the team are special people. Martin in particular helped my daughter and me through a very stressful situation this time, with calmness and kindness. Everyone at Hotel Villa Maria Pia gave us an unforgettable, personal experience. You are THE BEST! The hotel is in a convenient spot, with lovely restaurants and local shops within walking distance, and the most charming beach just a few minutes away on foot. Private parking is essential for us, and they have it. Breakfast is delicious on a beautiful veranda overlooking the sea. The rooms are incredibly clean, with traditional furniture and style, and breathtaking views. It's a €1,000,000.00 view! The cave is amazingly close, and my husband loves swimming to it. We're sure we'll return to the Amalfi Coast, and we'll stay at HVMP again.

We were a group of 16 friends and enjoyed every minute of our three-night September stay at Hotel Villa Maria Pia Praiano. Priaiano is a lovely alternative to busy Positano, with several good restaurants within walking distance. Since this is the Amalfi Coast, there are still steps up and down everywhere. In the evenings, the hotel's restaurant and bar, with its limited but tasty dinner menu, gave our group a good place to gather. Giulia, the owner, welcomed us and made us feel at home. Nello and the rest of the staff worked overtime to meet our room requests and plan outings. Nello arranged guides and vans for a full-day tour of Amalfi Town and Ravello, as well as a water taxi from Positano back to the hotel.

We loved how calm Praiano felt compared with Amalfi and Positano, while still being close to everything. A few restaurants were only a seven-minute walk away, and we could reach the beach on foot too. The hotel itself was charming, spotless, and beautifully looked after, with views we never got tired of. The staff were so warm and attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. A really memorable part of our trip, and we’d happily recommend Hotel Villa Maria Pia to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast.

We’d come back to Villa Maria Pia every time. The pool, gym, meals, and swimming area down the steps from the hotel were all great, and the location worked really well for us. What stood out most, though, was the staff. They were welcoming and genuine, helped book reservations with local businesses, and gave us guidance on activities we wanted to try. Loved it.

Julia was amazing. She suggested things to see and do and booked us a table at a nearby restaurant, where we had a delicious meal. The hotel is family owned, has beautiful views, and is not far from Positano. A perfect little boutique hotel.
